Belouve History Part Deux

Right. So I was asked by Roan (working under Damon's threats) to write something about "how I selected my paddies and anything else that springs to mind." I was told that if I do not comply with these requests that I will not be let into Canada for college. As I know Damon has connections deep in the Canadian immigration department and that he is a big black man and I am a scrawny little white boy, this is an offer I cannot refuse. Besides, I have this feeling Roan knows more than he's telling me.

So here goes. First of all, what you have to understand is that when I was first made Knight I was only a "n00b" in the JAK+ society. I was the coffee boy. And I was eager to impress the higher-ups. Anybody in my position would be. So naturally, the best way to do that was to take a few padawans and train them into something the JA could be proud of. Good agents. So as I went on my padawan hunt, I had two things in mind: first, I needed people with a deeper understanding than the average student of the workings of the JA, and second, I needed loyalty. Not loyalty to me, but loyalty to the JA. I wanted people who would not betray the agency... eh.. I mean, academy, at any cost. Out of all the people who were eager to start their apprenticeship under me, I found two people who fit that description very well: Sared and Fizz. I loved them, from the beginning. They were perfect. I couldn't tell you how I knew, I just did. I guess that's why I was made JAK (and later on, JAT) to begin with. I can feel these things about people. I don't have to tell you Sared and Fizz did, and *cough* still do, and awesome job.

Anyway, as time went on I took more padawans under my wing. First there was Orion. Then, Casual and Acey Spadey. Don't ask me why. I don't know. They were just my friends and I wanted to do something nice for them.

You see, at that point in time I didn't like the JA very much. They pissed me off. So I decided to take a couple padawans who didn't have a very big future at the JA, for various reasons which I won't go into right now. They were awesome people, but the truth was they were just your average Joe students. The fact that one of them later became a Knight had nothing to do with me. But I can't get into that right now, perhaps at a later time.

That is all I can tell you at this point. I could tell you more, but I would have to kill you, and I'd hate to do that. You understand.

This message will stay among us Belouves. The consequences of any sensitive information leaking out can be catastrophic and come at a great personal loss to us directly. I mean, just look at what happened to poor Dani.

Bubu out.
